SYNERGIE has had a successful year in 2024. We found more than 1,000 people for the brave plans of the companies

At a time when the Czech and Slovak labour markets are facing significant challenges, SYNERGIE has had an extraordinary year full of successes and strategic moves that have strengthened its position among the leading HR service providers in the country. What is behind the growth and how do we help our clients find quality employees in an era of record low unemployment?

One answer is international recruitment


Even though local labour markets are facing their limits, we have been able to significantly strengthen our services. “In 2024, we successfully placed more than 1,000 candidates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, reaffirming our mission to connect people to achieve success faster,” adds Martin Huba, Managing Director of SYNERGIE and S&you CZ+SK.

Of the total number of candidates placed, almost 20% were from third countries, mainly India and Nepal. “Thanks to international recruitment, we are able to help our clients face the declining number of available workers in local markets,” adds Martin Huba. Through recruitment, clients not only gain stable workers, but especially in production and logistics operations, turnover is reduced, thus reducing costs and increasing the efficiency of production processes.

We have also expanded the portfolio of professions available for recruitment from third countries. These include forklift drivers, welders, production workers and many others.

Our philosophy is based on careful selection and preparation of candidates before their arrival in the Czech Republic or Slovakia.

An innovative move by our company was to open a training and testing centre directly in the candidates’ home countries. “These centres allow us to prepare selected candidates for real work according to the detailed requirements of our clients, so that we can select only the most suitable employees while still in their home country,” explains Martin Huba.

This procedure significantly improves the adaptation of foreign workers and reduces their turnover after their employment. For employers, this means a more stable workforce and lower costs associated with re-recruitment.

2024 was a year of growth and expansion of services into other sectors

In line with our vision to become one of the top HR service providers, we have expanded our scope of operations. “To be closer to our clients and candidates, we have expanded our network with new offices in Ostrava and Košice,” adds Martin Huba: “These new locations will allow us to better cover the local needs of our clients and offer more effective HR solutions in the industrial and service centres of the region.” Local support has helped clients manage seasonal peaks and cover multi-shift operations.

Another important strategic step was the acquisition of peopleTOretail, a Prague-based staffing agency specializing in retail. “This acquisition allowed us to expand our expertise in retail recruitment,” confirms Martin Huba. “Our clients appreciate the fact that they are not communicated with by a regular HR person, but by an expert who understands the realities of retail. As a result, they get employees who really fit in and last. .” Employers in retail often struggle with the problem of high turnover.

Ready for the challenges of 2025

During our overseas trips, we prepared additional candidates and by the end of 2024 we had more than 200 carefully selected candidates in the visa process, who are gradually coming on board with our clients. This process has enabled a strong start to 2025.

A look back at 2024 gives us a clear picture of the direction SYNERGY is taking. “We will continue to focus on connecting companies with quality candidates and developing our HR services to be a quality partner for our clients’ growth,” summarizes Martin Huba.
